B-52

Alcohol: Yes

Glass: Shot glass

Taste: sweet, fruity, spicy, sour

Ingredients

1/3 oz of Baileys Irish Cream

1/3 oz of Grand Marnier

1/4 oz of Kahlua

Instructions

1. Start by chilling your shot glass to ensure the best flavor and texture for your B-52 cocktail.

2. Pour the Kahlua into the shot glass, filling about one-third of the glass. Make sure to pour slowly and steadily to achieve a proper layer.

3. Place a spoon upside down over the shot glass, with the tip touching the inside rim. Slowly pour the Baileys Irish Cream over the spoon so that it floats on top of the Kahlua layer. The glass should now be two-thirds full.

4. Repeat the same spoon-float method to add the Grand Marnier, filling the remaining space in the shot glass.

5. Serve the layered B-52 with a stirrer on the side, allowing the drinker to mix the flavors if they desire.

- Practice makes perfect. Layered cocktails can be tricky, so don't be discouraged if it takes a few tries to get the layers just right.

- To make it creamier, add slightly more Baileys than Grand Marnier.

- To make it less sweet, use a coffee liqueur with a lower sugar content in place of the Kahlua.
